The ceramic compound (MgAl2O4) was prepared by mixing Nano powder of Al2O3/MgO doped with Nano SiO2 at different proportions. The powder mixtures were pressed into pellets using 10 ton and sintered at 1450 oC. Structure of the samples was analyzed by using X-ray diffraction (XRD). The X-ray patterns of all the samples showed pure simple cubic spinel structure with the space group Fd3 ̅m. The surface topology was studied by atomic force microscopy AFM. The average grain size was about 59.30 nm. The DC electrical properties and the energy gap for the samples were measured. The Hall charge mobility, Hall coefficient and charge carrier concentrations were investigated. The apparent density was found to increase and the porosity and water absorption were found to decrease with forming pressure and sintering temperature.
